Analysis of the profits of Mojo in Hong Kong and Singapore between 1994 and 2001
1. Hong Kong Description
As is indicated in figure 1, the revenue obtained by Mojo in Hong Kong increased from 1994 to 1997 steadily and reached a peak in 1997 due to the fact that the economic development was booming during this period. From 1997 to 1998 the profit dropped sharply because of financial crisis but the situation improved and hit a trough in 1999. After that the revenue rebounded in 1999 and achieved a grdual rise from 1999 to 2001, which was the result of a series of government intervention in the market and the open of China market.

2. Singapore Description and comparison
The profits rose between 1994 and 1995 and levelled off until 1995. Compared with Hong Kong, the profits earned were much more in Singapore because of the relatively favourable taxation system in Singapore in early 1990s. However the profits declined significantly from 1996 to 1998 in Singapore while the company in Hong Kong was still making profit until 1997. The possible reason was the increasing competition from Malaysia face by Singapore market. From 1998 to 1999 the profits made in Singapore became stable and profits decreased continuously from 1999 to 2001 while the profits earned in Hong Kong started to soare from that period. It seems that the reason behind was the support from China government after the handover of Hong Kong from US to China.
